Roma II
Ok, so Friday April 15 Ashley and Amy came in to Roma and met Ara and I for a grand tour. Ara and I went earlier that morning so we could scout out some of the routes we would take on the tour and so that Ara could buy a Rosary and I could get an AS Roma Jersey (see our priorities...). We met Ashley and Amy at Termini at 2:45 and then had an action packed 4 hours during which went to each of the following:
Piazza Republica
Chiesa Della Maria Degli Martiri
Circus Maximus
Palatine Hill
Colloseum
Forum
Vittorio Emanuele II
Torre Argentina
Pantheon
Tazzo D'Ora (Rome's most famous coffee shop, Ashley loves coffee)
Trevi Fountain
Spanish Steps
St. Peter's Square (couldn't go inside the church, the line was 3 hours +)
Now, if you look back, that's all the major attractions of Rome condensed into a very fun and very fast four hour tour. Hot.
Ok, so here are the pictures from my second major trip to Rome:

So there you have it folks, 33 new pictures of Roma. Whew. So we got home and went to Regiros where Ashley and Amy found they quite enjoyed the food and drinks of Italy.
Yesterday (yes thats right, I'm up to yesterday in the Blog again!) we mostly just chilled around Castiglion. The weather wasn't fantastic in the morning but it got a bit better in the evening. We had an amazing lunch at Hermes and I got a Dr. Pepper from Ara for my birthday so I had that to drink (which was GREAT) but the restaurant owner gave be a hard time about taking an outside beverage in so I told him about it being the American's favorite drink but that it was really hard to find in Europe, and I don't know if its possible but if he is able to find a supplier in Italy or figure out a way to ship some across the ocean he should because he would make a lot of money off people wanting Dr. Pepper instead of Coke. In the afternoon we watched some movies, that was fun. We took the girls to Velvet Underground and Regiros both last night so they could get a full sampling of the Castiglion bar scene.
So that about wraps up this weekend, which leaves me with one more summary post to make...
