Pienza and Montepulchiano

So, Wednesday, April 6th we went to Pienza and Montepulchiano.

First we were in Montepulchiano which was a very scenic town. Nothing dramatic happened, we just walked around a while. Hence:

This cool church we came to see in Montepulchiano

In the afternoon we went to Pienza, we had an AMAZING dinner with great bread, lasagna, three meat courses (chicken, pork, sausage) and an extra dish of RABBIT for anyone who wanted it (it was really good) then some great salad and tiramisu for desert. It was a fantastic meal.

After that Dave and I wnt to a gelateria, then happened to bump into Peter and Paulo going back to Castiglion and we decided to hitch a ride and went home early. There were no events scheduled past that point so we figured may as well head home and chill. Which we did. It was glorious. We had some really interesting conversations on the way back as well.

Ok so that wraps up that trip, and brings us to Barcelona!
