Switzerland: Day Three
Ok at this point I'm getting really tired of blogging. This day we went to a different mountain, it was George (from Austrailia), Natalie, Jamie, Marcus, Brittany, Kim, and Shannon (From K-State). Mostly Natalie, Jamie, Marcus, Kim and I skiid together.
Some pictures:
Us at the bottom of the slope, George is in the middle of the picture
Heading down the bunny slope
Some stuff on the slopes
Lounging at the top of the mountain where we had lunch
Our cafe at the top with the lift in the background

Poor broken Bess
Jim, probably passing some gas
So our last night in Switzerland was fun. Jason, Jason and I cooked some amazing Gumbo that shocked the other people in the Hostel with its amazing flavorishousness (yes, new english). Kate, Bess, Jim, Dave, and I went to bed around midnight because we had to get up at about 5 AM (yikes!). Unfortunately about 12:15 the revelry from Jamie's birthday wine celebration (she turned 21 at midnight) made its way upstairs and Bess and I never fell asleep because of the steady noise which was eventually shushed but replaced by puking sounds. When we headed out I carried Bess' backpack on my back (it was big) and my backpack on my chest, which worked ok except it prevented me from seeing down the hill in front of me and I definitely bit it on some stairs and rolled down a concrete path into a wall. Yeah.
More train drama, Monday. I wanted to get to Castiglion in time to present our group project on Monday, but to do that meant upgrading to Eurostar (the fast trains) and left me with only 8 minutes to change trains in Milan. Unfortunately our train was 9 minutes late arriving in Milan, but luckily we parked right next to the train I needed and it was slightly delayed for some reason. I SPRINTED down the tracks and to the next bin where the Eurostar was waiting, as I ran toward it the conducted hopped out and shouted "Dove stai andando?!" and I shouted "Firenze!" and he shouted "Salide, subito subito!!" (Where are you going!?! Florence!!! Get on quick quick!!) and I lept onto the train JUST as the doors slammed behind me and the train started moving forward. YES! I'm definitely not going to ever ever miss another train.
Ok: It's 23:00, aka 11PM right now. I've been online for 2.5 hours uploading all this, which sucks and I'm tired of doing it. I'm going to be in Italy this weekend for a change, so hopefully tomorrow but if nothing else by the end of the weekend I'll get the blog all the way caught up. For now we've got stuff online to cover through April 4th, so its only 9 day old material... man April is going by fast.... thank God I'll be out of Europe soon.
Ok seriously, new posts ASAP, gotta get this thing up to speed before London! Oh, and also, everyone feel free to leave comments! Ciao!
